Welcome

Welcome to My Mothers {favorite} Daughter, so glad you stopped by for a little visit, hope you stay a while and by all means please leave a comment or two...as my daughter always says 'mom you never meet a stranger' - so be sure and come back and see what I am up to, because you never know where I will take you!  That said, now I guess I need to do a little explaining of the title of my blog.

Subliminal messages...powerful tools right? Well here is a little heads up...they DO NOT work on mothers. No honest, I have tried everything in my power to convince my precious Mama that I, Donna Kay, the baby no less, is her favorite...and she is just not buying it! Oh and I've been diligent, every bouquet of flowers sent, every birthday card, each gift included the tiny but pointed reminder, 'Love you Donna Kay (your favorite)' but seriously, I love to laugh, and what I love more is to make my Mama laugh.  She has been the most influential person in my life and shown me the true meaning of unconditional love, patience (tested by 3 boys and 2 girls) and a true giving spirit my whole life.  She always has time, no matter what, to stop and listen or to throw in a helping hand, yep I've determined that when I grow up, I want to be just like Mama.  I am just so thankful for the day the good Lord picked her for me.  So welcome again, and hope you enjoy the visit.
